Stay curious with a hefty helping of hands-on, minds-on science fun with summer camps at the RMSC! Join us for a summer of science, discovery, and messy experiments.

We’ve got eight week-long sessions of RMSC Curiosity Camp, with diverse offerings for ages 3-15. Your kids can discover superhero science, cook up a storm (and an experiment) in the kitchen, and engineer a toy (or a tower or a technological innovation). With summer camps available at the RMSC Museum & Science Center and the RMSC Cumming Nature Center, you’re sure to find something that piques your child’s interests.

YMCA of Greater Rochester

Day Camp at the YMCA of Greater Rochester provides campers with an exceptional camping experience. Day campers participate in group activities, swimming, and more. Campers can take part in activities like sports, bounce pillows, arts & crafts time and so much more. Each camp, while maintaining YMCA standards, offers unique experiences. Camp Arrowhead features a high-ropes, aerial adventure course and Camp Eastside has an outdoor Rockwall, both helping campers reach new heights. Camp Bay View and Camp Glacier have direct access to Irondequoit Bay and Canandaigua Lake respectively for kayaking and canoeing. Camp Watson Woods and Camp Northpoint are located on several acres, which provides space for all types of adventures.

Seneca Park Zoo

Explore the animal world at ZooCamp

Summer ZooCamp immerses kids in wildlife, the environment and the need to protect and care for both, all in a unique setting: The Zoo! These week-long camps run from June 3 through August 23 with themes ranging from Junior Veterinarian to African Adventure. Campers can count on helping zoo keepers, learning about the animals they know and love, spending time outdoors, and meeting other kids with similar interests.

At the JCC, we believe camp should be freedom from the everyday where kids can safely explore new experiences, stoke a sense of adventure and make life-lasting friendships.
